Work place learning at Bourke High School involves
All BHS students placed with Employers will be done so only after the completion of a Student Placement Record.
The SPR has sections to be completed by the Student, the Employer, the Parent/Care Giver and the School.
The SPR allows our students to be covered by the Department of Education's Insurance Policy, whilst in the Workplace, as long as guidelines are followed and prohibited activities are not undertaken.
All parties involved will have relevant Guidelines issued, and a completed copy of the SPR prior to the arranged placements.
