Transition placement are individual placements co-ordinated by the Transition Advisor, to suit the needs of an individual student. These placements may be a combination of Job Shadowing, and Work Experience depending on the capabilities of the student and the  requirements of  the chosen workplace.

The Transition Advisor is able to case manage and support student's transition into the ‘world of work'.

Students will potentially develop employability skills and demonstrate their ability to apply them in a school supported setting.

Increase in the compulsory school leaving age to 17 has impacted on some students likely to disengage from school early.

Provides targeted students with an alternative pathway to completing their formal education.
